Vignon - Les Vignes Goisses 2020
Out of stock
Single vine plot planted in 1965! Native yeasts only, and most years no chaptalization. A 100% of the wine is elaborated in oak barrels and rests on fine lees for 9 months without any fining, filtration or cold stabilization.
- Blending: 100 % Pinot Noir.
- Vintage: Pure 2019.
- Production: approximately 3000 bottles per year.
-
Dosage: 6g/l natural.
- Origin: a blending of red wine and base wine produced from a single plot in Verzy Grand Cru area.
Tasting: Very expressive, very open nose of small red stone fruits reminiscent of a childhood memory; raspberry syrup! The palate combines the width of the fruit and the depth of the soil! The power of the grape variety, the delicacy of Verzy, the chalk, and the concentration due to the age of the vines! In the end, a very nice balance, a wine of great greed, crunchy fruit, chiselled by a beautiful freshness brought by the chalk Champagne to associate on salmon canapés, pie, charcuterie (Pata Négra, Serano) a semi-cooked foie gras marinated in red wine, or on a chocolate fondant combined with a red fruit coulis.
