100% Pinot Meunier, zero dosage. The Généreuse is where Pinot-Chevauchet's philosophy of minimal intervention reaches its purest expression, a Blanc de Noirs with no added sugar at all, allowing the natural fruit of the Meunier grape to speak completely freely. Blended from the 2018 and 2017 harvests, aged five years on lees plus one year after disgorgement. Exceptionally low sulphites (~25 mg/l). Awarded three stars in the Hachette Guide 2024 and recognised by Gault & Millau 2026.
Tasting notes: Brilliant gold-yellow with fine persistent bubbles. On the nose: fresh and attractive, white fruits, white blossom and mineral nuances. On the palate: an excellent balance between intensity and natural sweetness, giving way to white fruit and blossom notes. The finish delivers honey aromatics and clean minerality, honest fruit, nothing added.
Food pairing: Surprising and versatile. Ideal as an aperitif, and outstanding with oysters, seafood and crustaceans.
