Collection: Pascal Mazet
Chigny-les-Roses, Montagne de Reims
Champagne Pascal Mazet is a small, deeply committed estate in Chigny-les-Roses on the Montagne de Reims. Founded in 1980, the domaine is entirely the work of Pascal Mazet himself: two hectares of vineyard, cultivated in certified organic agriculture since 2012, guided by a philosophy that places the life of the soil and the natural expression of the vine at the absolute centre.

Pascal works his soils by hand throughout the year, aerating the earth and enriching it with natural organic matter. Every intervention in the vineyard is decided parcel by parcel, based on close observation of the vines. In the cellar, the approach is equally contemplative: fermentation occurs at low, controlled temperatures, followed by malolactic fermentation, with wines resting for three to five years or more before release, and bottled without unnecessary additives.
What distinguishes Pascal Mazet further is the role of wood: the estate works with 20 oak barrels and three oval foudres, giving its champagnes a textural richness and subtle complexity that reflects the depth of craft behind them. This is champagne made from the ground up, with patience, and with the kind of individual conviction that only a one-person estate can truly deliver.
