A Blanc de Noirs made entirely from Pinot Meunier, white champagne from black grapes, sourced from the Marne Valley. The 2022 harvest is rounded out by 40% of 5-year reserve wine, adding depth and complexity. Clay-limestone and clay-siliceous soils contribute both structure and freshness. With a cellaring potential of 4 to 5 years, this is a champagne that rewards patience as much as it pleases immediately.
Tasting notes: On the nose: elegant and generous, ripe yellow fruits, lightly stewed apricot, peach and a hint of caramel, accompanied by delicate floral notes. On the palate: creamy texture reminiscent of vanilla cream and fine pastries, with good power, seductive roundness and a fresh, well-balanced finish.
Food pairing: Excellent with refined aperitifs, roasted white meats, poultry in creamy sauce, delicate terrines and mild cheeses such as Brie or Brillat-Savarin. Also pairs beautifully with an apricot tart or lightly buttered brioche.
