The prestige cuvée of the house, made only in the best years, and only 976 bottles ever produced. A perfectly equal blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay from the best plots of Verzenay Grand Cru, all with vines averaging over 40 years old. Stéphane Vignon harvested 10 days later than his neighbours in Verzenay to push maturity to its absolute limit. 100% oak barrel vinification with 9 months of lees stirring. No chaptalization, no fining, no filtration. Natural cold stabilization. The result was called almost Burgundian by Julia Scavo, who rated it 92/100. Mundus Vini Gold 2024, Frankfurt Trophy Grand Gold 2024.

Tasting notes: The delicacy of a great terroir. Aerial and lifted with a floral veil and fresh peaches, a hint of yellow plums, not autolytic, but almost Burgundian by its fine toast. The mouthfeel is soft and layered with a caressing creamy mousse, vivified by aromatic freshness with citrusy dynamics and notes of citron fruit and tangerine peel.

Food pairing: Crayfish, pan-fried shrimps, lobster and carpaccio of scallops.
