Odyssée 319 - Jour 1: Le Levant

The Odyssey starts with a walk around Avize, to fully understand the identities that Avize reveals. Le Levant (ie the rising sun side of Avize), it is the typicity of the wines coming from the south of the Avize village. Plots in the middle and the bottom of the hillside highlight the specificity of these lieux dits, often very ripe and early in terms of maturity.

Aromatic: Le Levant’s side often produces a beautiful roundness. The vintage 2014 shows a sweet evolution that keeps on improving with plenty of time. Structured and generous, its minty ending lasts again and again.
