Avize, Côte des Blancs - Grand Cru

Champagne A. Boatas & Fils is a four-generation family estate based in Avize, one of the most prestigious Grand Cru villages on the Côte des Blancs. The estate cultivates 3.6 hectares of vineyard, of which the vast majority is located in Avize and planted entirely with Chardonnay, making it a pure expression of one of Champagne's most celebrated terroirs.

As récoltants coopérateurs, the Boatas family has long combined the intimacy of estate farming with the technical resources of the cooperative, allowing them to produce both single-village cuvées from their own parcels and Grand Cru assemblages. Their most personal wines are the millésimés: hand-selected, old-vine parcels from Avize that are vinified separately to produce 100% Avize Grand Cru champagnes of real character.

The estate's parcels in Avize carry names that span generations: Chemin de Paradis, Fond du Moulin, Terre de Maladries, and Nobiats du Nord, among others, with vines averaging around fifty years of age. A favourite of the Guide Hachette, receiving a Coup de Coeur for two of its millésimés, A. Boatas & Fils brings quiet confidence and genuine terroir expression to everything it produces.
