Collection: A. Boatas

Champagne A. Boatas & Fils is a family-owned Champagne house based in the prestigious Grand Cru village of Avize, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. With roots tracing back four generations, the estate is now run by Armand Boatas, who took over the family’s 3.6-hectare vineyard in 2005. Originally an engineer, Armand fully dedicated himself to winemaking in 2014, combining his technical precision with a deep respect for tradition.

The house is devoted exclusively to Grand Cru terroirs, primarily cultivating Chardonnay, the signature grape of the Côte des Blancs. The vineyards benefit from chalky soils and an ideal microclimate, allowing the Boatas family to produce wines of finesse, minerality, and elegance.

Champagne A. Boatas & Fils takes a meticulous and hands-on approach to production. Grapes are hand-harvested and gently pressed, with fermentation taking place in stainless steel or oak depending on the cuvée. Malolactic fermentation is selectively avoided to preserve freshness and structure, and the wines are aged extensively on lees to develop complexity. Dosage levels vary across the range, from brut to extra-brut and brut nature, reflecting the stylistic diversity of the house.

Their portfolio is centered around Chardonnay-driven Champagnes, focusing on the purity and tension of the Côte des Blancs. Whether it’s a classic Blanc de Blancs, a rare single-vineyard expression, or a rosé blended with Grand Cru Pinot Noir, the wines share a common thread of precision, elegance, and length. These Champagnes are gastronomic in style, crafted not only for celebration, but also to pair beautifully with refined cuisine.

Today, Champagne A. Boatas & Fils continues to build its reputation as a small but exceptional grower-producer, delivering wines that reflect the soul of their terroir and the dedication of a passionate winemaking family.
