Grégory Bruyen, the current generation winemaker at Bruyen, is the sixth generation to take over the family estate since 2021. In 2005, 2006 he started with 6 ares of vines for rent in Passy-Grigny. Every year, some residents of Passy-Grigny retired and Grégory Bruyen doubled the area. Until 2015, after 10 years of constant and hard work, it reached 80 ares. The link is strong between the generations. Grégory saw his winemaking parents work throughout his youth. He always wanted to follow in their footsteps. In 2018, he took over the vineyard from his uncle and aunt (Denis & Evelyne Macquart). In 2018, he created his own brand Bruyen according to his vision of Champagne. In May 2019, he decided to open a boutique in downtown Reims. In 2021, he took over the vineyard from his father Patrick Bruyen.

Having carried out studies including a BTS located in Avize in the wine and oenology section. Grégory brought a completely new vision to Champagne Bruyen, it is naturally oriented towards a very reasoned culture at the limit of organic. The vinifications are atypical and technically advanced because they are made in oak barrels. This vinification in oak barrels makes it possible to produce more natural wines, reduce oxidation and provide new aromas such as a slight woody nose. But mainly the objective is to obtain an aromatic bouquet especially with deeper and complex citrus and fruity notes.

The objective of this vast range (6 cuvées) is to offer the possibility for each of our customers/ambassadors to orient themselves either on younger, fresh and fruity wines or more advanced and more complex wines with deeper aromas according to the profile and expectations.

Grégory wants to transmit his passion and vision of champagne through his wines. With these 6 Champagnes, the most important is the satisfaction of our customers, to find our bottles at a very good value for money and the respect for the environment. Based on 4 pillars: Creativity, Respect for the environment, Requirement, Passion.
