From within the Clos Cazals in Oger, a single plot called «Chapelle», planted in 1980, gives birth to this refined parcel champagne. The 2017 vintage was difficult: significant frost, unusual rainfall patterns and a challenging maturation. Yet the result is a champagne of elegant complexity. Vinified in stainless steel, then 10% finished in oak barrels, and aged six years on lees before disgorgement at the end of 2022.

Tasting notes: On the nose: fine and elegant, exotic and floral notes woven through a beautiful delicate minerality. Citrus and zest at first, then white flowers and hawthorn, finishing on rounder exotic notes of mango and lychee. On the palate: lychee and pineapple confirmed, with beautiful freshness. White-fleshed fruits and a subtle vanilla note emerge, followed by a delicate acidity and good length.

Food pairing: A gastronomic champagne. Excellent with fine fish, shellfish, white meats and dishes with exotic spice notes.
