The emblem of the house, the Carte d'Or has been passed down father to son through eight generations of the Philippart family, established in Chigny-les-Roses in the heart of the Premier Cru vineyards since 1827. Its recipe, its character and its continuity are the result of a unique assembly method: the reserve wines used are exclusively drawn from previous vintages of the Carte d'Or itself, maintaining an unbroken aromatic thread from year to year. All three Champagne grape varieties contribute in equal measure to this balanced, generous and accessible cuvée.

Tasting notes: Deep gold in colour with fine bubbles. A frank and subtly fruity nose, accessible yet refined. On the palate: round, balanced and harmonious, with notes of ripe fruit and a gentle freshness from the partial malolactic fermentation. Long and satisfying on the finish.

Food pairing: A true all-occasion champagne, from aperitif to dessert. Particularly good alongside white meats. Also available in Demi-Sec (34 g/l) for foie gras and desserts.
