Odyssée 319 - Brut (Demi)

The anchor point of the Odyssée 319 adventure, and the wine that best embodies the spirit of the project. Olivier Bonville and Ferdinand Ruelle set sail from Avize, their historic home port on the Côte des Blancs, where their family has been working Chardonnay for four generations. The Brut Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs is the foundation of their permanent collection: a pure, faithful expression of ancestral know-how in Avize, revealing its mineral freshness, chalky tension and the generosity of their winemaking. An original Blanc de Blancs that lays the foundation for the journey ahead.

Tasting notes: The typical characteristics of Côte des Blancs Chardonnay, maturity and fineness, both present in full, after a long ageing in the cellars. A straight, direct attack turning into a beautiful freshness. Well balanced, with stone fruit notes of plum and cherry plum conferring volume and length.

Food pairing: The ideal aperitif, the starting point of any meal as much as this cuvée is the starting point of the Odyssey. Outstanding with fine oysters, shellfish and delicate white fish.
