Collection: Pinot-Chevauchet

Moussy / Pierry, Premier Cru (near Épernay)

Champagne Pinot-Chevauchet is a five-generation family estate based in Moussy, a Premier Cru village between the Côte des Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne, just 4 kilometres from Épernay. The estate farms 4 hectares across 27 parcels in Moussy and the neighbouring Premier Cru village of Pierry, cultivating all three champagne varieties on a calcareous-clay terroir rich in flint.

What sets Pinot-Chevauchet apart is a commitment to terroir expression through long ageing and minimal intervention. Every cuvée is aged for at least five years before release. Sulphite additions are kept to the lowest possible level, parcel vinification is standard practice, and single-variety and single-harvest cuvées are produced to let the terroir speak without the filter of blending.

The estate has practised sustainable viticulture for over 36 years: grass cover, mechanical weeding under the vine rows, organic compost nutrition, and biological crop protection methods. It has held both VDC (Viticulture Durable en Champagne) and HVE (High Environmental Value) certifications since 2018 and is now in conversion to full organic. Around 70% of production goes to export markets, and Pinot-Chevauchet is recognised for the consistency and genuine character of its champagnes.
