A step up in depth and richness from the Brut, the Unisson is the house's essential cuvée and an expression of what 4 to 5 years of patient lees ageing does to Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs. Blended from 70% 2020 and 30% 2019 from Avize and Oger Grand Cru, vinified in stainless steel with malolactic fermentation, with a portion of reserve wines aged in oak foudres and demi-muids. Disgorged July 2025. The name Unisson evokes the harmony of two vintages and the house's vision of timeless Blanc de Blancs, balanced, indulgent and creamy, underpinned by the saline backbone that the chalky Côte des Blancs soils always deliver.
Tasting notes: Developed notes of brioche, butter and fresh almond, beautifully intertwined with the freshness of the Chardonnay and the signature minerality of the chalky terroirs. A generous blend with fine bubbles, great elegance and an aromatic framework of citrus and white flowers. Warm, approachable and long.
Food pairing: Excellent as a refined aperitif and equally at home throughout a meal. Perfect with fine fish, poultry in cream sauce, aged goat's cheeses and white mushroom dishes.
