Collection: Franck Bonville

Champagne Franck Bonville is a family-run champagne house based in Avize, a Grand Cru village in the Côte des Blancs region of Champagne, France. The house's history dates back to the early 20th century when Alfred Bonville began cultivating vineyards in Avize, known for its exceptional Chardonnay grapes.

After World War II, Alfred’s grandson, Franck Bonville, took over the estate and expanded the vineyards, focusing on producing high-quality Blanc de Blancs champagne made exclusively from Chardonnay. Franck Bonville’s dedication to his craft led to the house’s official establishment in the 1950s, producing champagne under the family name.

The vineyards, spanning around 20 hectares, are located in the prestigious Grand Cru villages of Avize, Oger, and Cramant, all celebrated for their chalky soils that produce elegant and mineral-driven Chardonnay. The house specializes in Blanc de Blancs, known for its finesse, purity, and aging potential.

Franck Bonville's son, Gilles, and later his grandson, Olivier Bonville, continued the family tradition, bringing modern techniques to complement the traditional methods of winemaking. They maintain a focus on sustainable vineyard practices, respecting the environment and ensuring the health of the land for future generations.

The family adheres to meticulous winemaking practices, including hand-harvesting and extended aging on lees, which adds complexity and depth to their wines. Champagne Franck Bonville is particularly known for its fresh and elegant champagnes, which express the full character of the Côte des Blancs terroir.

Today, Champagne Franck Bonville remains a highly respected house, producing Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs that are appreciated by champagne enthusiasts around the world for their precision, purity, and reflection of the family's dedication to their craft.
