Champagne Maurice Philippart is a traditional family house in Chigny-les-Roses, a charming village nestled in the Montagne de Reims vineyards. The Philippart family has farmed vines in Champagne for more than seven generations, with Nicaise Philippart already tending his vines in 1827. It was Maurice Philippart who gave the house its commercial identity in 1930, when he began selling champagne under his own name.

The estate has remained resolutely family-owned through every generation. Paul Philippart built the commercial side. His son Franck joined in 1983 and took over in 1993. Paul's son Christophe has assisted since 2012, representing the next generation in a house that manages the complete production chain from vine to bottle without intermediaries.

The three Champagne varieties (Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay) all feature in the Philippart range, which spans six champagnes and a Ratafia Champenois. It is a house that values craftsmanship and continuity above all, and whose wines regularly receive recognition in specialist guides. Visitors are warmly welcomed in Chigny-les-Roses, where the pace is unhurried and the champagne is the point.
