Avize, Côte des Blancs — Grand Cru
Champagne Franck Bonville is a récoltant-manipulant estate with a century of history in Avize, the Grand Cru heart of the Côte des Blancs. The story begins with Alfred Bonville, who purchased his first vineyard parcels in the early 20th century, and his son Franck, who established the winemaking house in 1936 and created the first vintage following the exceptional 1959 harvest.

Today the estate is led by Olivier Bonville, who joined in 1997 after completing his studies in viticulture and oenology, and his son-in-law Ferdinand Ruelle-Dudel, a former aerospace engineer who traded jet propulsion for Chardonnay after a world tour of wine regions. Together they manage 15 hectares of Chardonnay across more than 77 parcels in four Grand Cru villages: Avize, Cramant, Oger, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.

The entire production chain, from vine cultivation to disgorgement, dressing, and distribution, is handled in-house by Olivier, Ferdinand, and a team of 15. Around 140,000 bottles are produced annually, each one a direct expression of chalk, family, and four generations of accumulated knowledge on the Côte des Blancs.
